Cat's protection league on the main Rd through Scarcliffe.
My mum always uses them, her cat is there as we speak.
We've also used them for our cat when we went to Cornwall the other year.

Not sure if it's a bit out your way though.

Thanks Fly.
I been speaking with my daughter about this. To be honest we have no idea what the costs are for these or if we take the cats own food. Are they in runs Fly with individual sleeping places.
Daughter got a bit teary as she loves Soxy to bits   :-X and the thought of him having to go anywhere isn't going down to well.   :-X
She had already booked this holiday with us before she had Sox, I think next year she won't be going with us - so I can look after him  :-X

Fly - have phoned the number from the link but it's a cat rescue place and they don't board cats?

I hear there is a cattery near Tapton Golfcourse - Crow Lane

http://www.chesterfieldcattery.co.uk
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Thanks Pete will have a look at that, there is also one at Whittington at the side of ST Bernards animal sanctuary, we support ST Bernards and have seen the cattery but don't know of anyone who has used it.

My mistake OC, I phoned Diane at Scarcliffe CPL and she told me they'd never been a cattery.
She's a friend of my mum's and looks after him when mum is away,
that's why she had our cat for the weekend, plus we got our cat from her.
She also wondered if I'd recomended her to you   ;)

She recommends the cattery just above the old Coalite plant in Bolsover on Buttermilk Lane.
She says the lady doesn't do it for the money, it's for the love of cats.
She couldn't remember the number off hand, so I told her I'd google it later,
I was on handsfree driving at the time.

I have, and can't find it  :(
If you want to give her a ring and ask for more details, I'm sure she'd be more than helpful.

Thanks Fly --- the lady did seem a tad confused when I phoned  :) no problem though - I'll see if I can track down the one you have mentioned and have a couple more to to look into as well - Pete has given me another one.
Do appreciate it.   :)
