Should David Cameron Join Boycott Against Ukraine?

The daughter of the jailed Ukrainian opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko has said her mother has been "brutally beaten" in prison, as more European governments announced they were boycotting next month's European football championship in protest.

Leaders of Austria, Belgium and Germany are all supporting the boycott and are refusing to attend - should Cameron join them?

I note that this "boycott" seems to go no further than not sending some freebooting ministers off to watch the games. That'll teach those dastardly Ukrainians!!

Various governmental (collective) pathetic protest as such are meaningless.
Does anyone think that an abstinence of politicians during a fairly drab football competition is going to change the way the Ukranians deal out their form of justice.
i don't think so.
If they were really serious about this, why not take the  Euro' competition elsewhere.
Because they have not got the balls (not footballs you understand)!
Their economy would suffer, furthermore I don't think we should be going there in the first place, due to possible racist issues-Platini  says anyone who is racially abused and walks off the pitch will be booked - yet he says referees have the authority to abandon the game if there are racist chants.

Platini also said he wasn't to blame if the racist hooligans caused trouble just because they awarded the tournament to countries with a history of violence.
He's positioning himself well to take over from Blatter

So what's your solution to this political situation I wonder? what should we do? What can we do-that will have any effect whatsoever.

To intimate that no one cares what is happening to this female is shameful.
But what can anyone do?
Me or you nothing. Governments perhaps in their protracted uncommitted ways - spineless, not able, or dare not.
Comment by all means Pete, but don't detract from folks who can't make sensible suggestions, ..".Plumbing new depths of ignorance" is quite a strong dialogue if you wish further discussion on this subject.
