Just had a geat weekend away in Manchester, meeting up with the forum members of a board we started over 10 years ago focused on online marketing and search engine optimisation. A pretty mixed bunch of folks of all ages and tastes.
We had Armenian food on Saturday evening and Tapas on the Friday. During the day we snacked on the foods of many different countries. All were rich, tasty, interesting, spicy, complicated, weird, horrible, fantastic etc etc.
But on the way home my mate and I stopped off at the Wanted Inn at Sparrowpit in the Peak to read the sunday papers whilst waiting for a typical sunday roast. And I have to say we both enjoyed that meal as much or more than what we ate in Manchester.
We both had a superb weekend with exceptional food, but good old English classics like the full English breakfast and the sunday roast, made with fresh ingredients - mmmm - lovely!
