Not much left now, just a few bits of outer fencing (they can't touch these because of the wildlife that lives in the ivy), the lighting towers and a bit of land leveling to do.
I spoke to the chap in charge of the demolition the other day and he said they were coming to the end of it and that soon the last of the fencing would be removed.
The really interesting thing to me is the view - there are whole streets and major buildings that have been hidden for over 100 years that we can see from our upstairs windows - and with the tv camera "hut" gone, our gardens and back yards have never seen such light.
Dependent on how well the new houses sell, it will be just a memory in a years time.
