Glad your days off dropped right. Nice seeing you the other morning  :)
Yes, nice to see you too and long overdue - I'll no doubt see you again about town. :)

No umbrellas.
No food and drink. Security checks in place and items may be confiscated.
No audio or visual recording equipment. eg. cameras

Elton starts at 8.00pm. Bet there's pictures on Facebook before 8.15pm  :))

NO restrictions at the drive in version of the concert..... I, together with dozens of other cheapskates, watched it on the giant screens from Tesco car park.  lol

I would too Aitch - If I didn't think he is one of the most obnoxious people on the planet

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I'm with you, OC.  I don't like Elton at all ... but I do like "some" of his music.

The staging was good, the lighting was effective and his fans were enjoying themselves.   Personally, I only really
enjoyed "Don't let the sun go down on me" which was sung just as the sun was setting, and "Crockodile Rock" which ended the
concert and really did  "rock da house."

We're in agreement then. :) I liked some of his earlier stuff - but the funny thing is, he said that Crocodile Rock was his least favourite song whilst it is my fave tune.

My problem is that I saw a documentary of him on the road a few years ago and he came over a  selfish, gobby drama queen - and I lost my respect for him there and then...  :(

The very best part of the event, for me, was having a nibble of his .................................... chocolate piano   ;D
