I can't believe some people find this acceptable behaviour in this day and age 

The older I get, the more I feel like turning hippy and joining the CND.
Then again, it didn't work out for them in the 60's, and we still have armed forces fighting 'no win battles'

I know what we see in other countries is wrong.
Random killing of Men,women,Children in the name of "religion", i.e. my religion is better than yours, has always gone on.
This does not make it right, or acceptable.
If people of different cultures believe in their God - if indeed there is one-surely indescrimenate killing is not allowed by all possible descriptions of whichever God you believe in.
Religion seems to create more hostility, historically, and presently,than anything else.
Surely from old religious texts, of whatever religion, living side by side with your neighbour should be accepted.
At the end of the day, we are human beings.
Not wild animals fighting for survival.
We are supposed to be the most intelligent beings on planet earth.
So why don't we get on with it and improve each others lives, and tell each others "religion"to step back a while, think about it, and come back online when sorted.
How many Gods, Jesus,Jehovah,Etc,etc, can there be FFS!

We are the worst people on the planet and we surely will destroy it before long.
My point was why can't religion get along, especially as, lets face it, whatever belief you have is utter crap, as it will not save the world, or solve its problems.
Has God,if we believe in religion, orchestrated everything good and bad that we see?
Or is it just Mother Nature (with bullets, and bombs,etc) ?

Different religions have never got along, it's just that these days the weapons mankind has developed are much more deadly than in the past.

What is needed to save the planet is a dominant species with no religion.

There is always going to be killings between religions some just can't accept others way of thinking/praying, there are some religions who think dying (as in human bombs) will get them to a perfect place. The dictators of countries such as this place are mad!! Wanting power over all --- that's not any religion in my book - just my opinion though.

I was encouraged by my Grandparents as a little boy to pray every night - not a bad thing I suppose, and I did pray an awful lot - still do sometimes.
However it makes you wonder, as God our "creator" who is all powerful etc., sits back apparently and lets all the killings go on.
If He exists, its about time he made he made a dramatic appearance and banged a few heads together.
After all, in terms of modern day Man management, we are overdue an appraisal.
