I stick with my original comments - i can't be arsed about the political sh1t.
I think the events over the past few days have been fantastic, and I am proud, more so now, after the events this week, to be British.
Not arguing with anyone.
Don't particularly care with any political bias/anti royal/dodgy unwarranted tabloid stuff.
The Olympics are next, and we've shown today that we can organize events monumentally well.
Long live the Queen, bring on the Olympics-can only be good for the economy.
Don't forget, if it was not for the Commonwealth, we would have not had a lot of support in WW2, i.e. the Indians, Gurkhas, Australians, Kiwis,etc...
Rant over, this is just my opinion, but, I have maximum respect for the Queen.

Don't think I'll gain by it.

I watched bits of it and have to agree Scimitar it was good and well thought out from what I watched. I'm still not a big 'Royal' fan though. It was however good to see the Queen 'smile' it doesn't happen often.
I reckon McCartney should retire from singing though - to me his voice is no more, he needs to concentrate on composing before he makes a complete fool of himself. Also thought the effects on the Palce were brilliant whilst Madness were singing

Despite what you might think, I am a royals fan. We had a party at our house and invited all the family, etc. We had the river bit on all afternoon in one room and party games in another - including a home-grown Jubilee quiz courtesy of my eldest.

I can.

Is it true that the Queen said "Thank you" from the roof of Brian May's house?
