Last Lighting Tower Falls at Saltergate

The last lighting tower at the old football ground on Saltergate came down today, as witnessed by that Flyboy.
Despite being told there would be a bit of a ceremony, complete with tv cameras, it seems that the demolition crew need it gone.

Was driving up Saltergate and saw something move out the corner of my eye to the right .
I turned to look, and saw the tower topple to the ground
Can't say I saw any camera crews or crowds of people though.
I must be one of the select few who actually saw it fall

I suppose the camera crews must have been fully occupied by that loose manhole cover in Leeds.

Did it fall or was it pushed? (I knew I should have joined the Police after all)

It was actually pushed by one of the demolition cranes. I presume they had ropes to pull it in the right direction.
I saw it, I saw it
