@OC The meds say set a date for the second week, (double dose), of the course, in my case, any day this week after Tuesday.

I'll give it a couple of days to see how the meds work before trying a blanket stop again.
Don't fancy a repeat of Saturday

So you have a double dose of the meds and then cut back on the fags - the choice of how many you cut down on is yours??

Second day of double meds and I'm craving fags even more. But . .
I've resisted temptation and had about 15 fags tuesday, probably same today.

Bought an e-cigarette sunday from Tesco.
Our_Lass thought sod it this morning, 8.00am ish and had a blast instead of a fag.
Overall, she's had about 5 blasts on it till now, 6.30pm, and hasn't had 1 fag.
Well impressed XXXX

Think I'll get myself one this weekend and try to get my 15 fags a day down even further.

May be worth a go Flyboy - if only to save money. My mate packed fags in a couple of years ago, but still smokes an electric fag because there are more harmful chemicals in the act of burning the tobacco than the nicotine itself - and he says he is saving shed loads of dosh.

BTW Did you get a Rubik's cube yet?

It will probably cost me more  :o
We usually bring our backa back from the jollies, cheap rollup stuff  :)

But it's not about the money, it's an health issue.
Were getting there  :)

Our_Lass has gone 2 days without a fag now  ;) Well done  :-*

I've been spacing my cigs 2 hours apart, if needed. Sometimes I can go 2 1/2 hours.
I'm getting an e-cig tomorrow, hopefully it'll replace the few fags I've been smoking.
Fingers crossed  :)

Just got to thin out the e-fag drags then, and get shut of the nicotine addiction.
At least I won't be smoking.

Yes - well done to Margaret for going without. :)

A doctor once told me that there are three milestones in packing in smoking, the third day, the third week and the third month - all of which are times that folks give in.

So it's worth congratulating yourself or Margaret when each milestone is passed.

Go for it mate!

Mags on day 3 of no fags, not bad considering she forgot her tablet this morning.
A few puffs on the e-fag are getting her through.

Me, had a fag at 6.15am this morning. Had another before my school run 7.45am.
Called at Tesco in Notts and bought an e-fag.
Haven't had another fag all day, and ain't missing it that much.
The e-fag is just enough to get me through. Hopefully tomorrow will be my first smoke free day in probably 30 years :-)

Cheers for the support peeps  :-*

It's a very weird feeling. Had a couple of cans and want to run to the door for a fag  :(
1. I haven't got any rolled  :)
2. I ain't going to roll any   ;)
3. I don't need to  ;D
4. Zyban, rocks, try it Pete. LOL Happy mate, happy  O0

Yes OC, the e-fag is working a treat, for both of us.  :)

If you get over the weekend without a ciggie then i reckon you may have cracked it.
I intend to live forever. So far, so good - But, too many Birthdays can kill you.
