Would YOU stop your childfrom having radio/chemo therapy

The latest on the news about the woman who has a child with a brain tumour taken out but now needs therapy to save the childs life - mum refuses --WHYYYY! Stupid woman would she rather have a child who has the chance of maybe losing a little bit of their personality etc --- or a child which is dead!!  >:(  >:(

If the treatment was to save Laura's life it would be a definate yes no questions asked...what mother would refuse treatment is it not selfish?

I just can't understand why any mum would not want her child to get better? Maybe i am missing something here.
