Not a resolution but, we -as a family - went to The Peak Edge Hotel at Stonedge for a NYE 'do'.

Had a great night, but the food was crap - the menu looked ok, but it didn't say that the food would only be shown the cooker/oven - and not actually placed inside it!!

Not entirely as we were sat at the same table as people that 'the children' ( ) knew, so it was quite a good night despite the food. Having said that, the canapes were lovely

Where do you live?  I am in Loundsley Green and we have some lovely walks around us.
We can leave your hubby flying his kite in the park and we can go for a walk.
