Having a gun is entrenched in the American psyche they'll never give them up. Look at the grief Obama's getting and he hasn't said anything about hand guns - America's gun of choice.

They are nutters - only yesterday I read an article and watched a video where a homeless man steals a tube of toothpaste and is chased by the manager and strangled to death in an alley... And passers by also kick the man whilst watching him being throttled. I know you shouldn't steal but that seems a little disproportionate...

Not a great fan of Piers Morgan but when he spoke up against guns there was a petition with over 100k signatures to have him kicked out of the country. The gun lobby seem mainly to be the "pro-life" Christian Right. No, I don't get it either.

Must admit I think he's a bit of a creep and loved it when Clarkson popped one on him, but I must admit I felt sorry for him when I saw this...

Someone may be of sound mind when they obtain the gun but I wouldn't like the thought of someone who develops dementia being able to get hold of one
