Should be an interesting watch and by the sounds of it raise the blood pressure of senior citizens.
It seems Michael Buerk thinks they shouldn't be un-touchable in the benefits cuts as many are so well off???

Sounds like another programme aimed at deflecting away from the fact that thousands are struggling to make ends meet, as with the one about the family with 11 kids

But isnt that the point?
Thousands allegedly struggling to make ends meet but millions more getting universal benefits that they don't really need (but I concede, having paid in for years fully entitled to)
I'm not an Alcoholic. They go to meetings
I'm a drunk I go to the pub

So true both of you. There are plenty out there who need a kick up the jacksie to get out and earn a crust - that's if they can find a job, being a pensioner who is also still working even if only a little these days I only know what I hear and read and that seems to be there are few jobs out there and many wanting them?
