Only planning application viewable was for demolition,  no idea if any plans have gone in yet to be published, seems no rush.
What happened to aldi opening up too? Wasnt that supposed to be on the land near topps tiles and kfc? Lots if changes to the moor at the moment are you finding trade any busier?

We are holding our own, not really busier I'm afraid..alas the football ground being sited on Sheffield Road seems to have altered the flow of customers, with Saturdays becoming quieter as people avoid the area.

Interesting to see that the moor is turning into an eatery. plenty of choice of food all day. Gone are the days of fruit and veg shops, wool shops and pet shops though.  Seems that everybody who ends up unemployed are having a go at selling food (not that I mind)

What are the best restaurants on the Moor? It would make a change not to eat on Chatsworth Road.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Can I just be clear, when we say 'land opposite the B2Net/Proact Stadium' do we mean the old fire station?

I was talking about the old firestation site :)

Best restaurant on Whittington Moor... toss up between Delhi 41 and Aubergine in my view. :)

The old fire station site is under offer according to the agent's web site though there's no planning application been made according to the CBC web site.

(I'd go with Delhi 41; we've had a couple of takeaways from there, the best in town by far)

Not been to delhi 41 since it was deepa but always enjoyed it, santiagos is intrresting if you go on your birthday as you get to wear a funny hat and get serenaded by the owner. Quite pleasant for a drink at night too not as roudy as brampton or town and not full of kids  >:(

I'm pleased has asked this. Just before we went away i drove up West street in town and along the back of the 'old' footie ground - they have altered the road on there since I last went that way it felt really strnage. Then on to whit moor only to find that is also changing had meant to ask the question myself pureparty. Just have to wait and see!!
