Please, out of respect, could we not get into a discussion about accidents?

Slack Hill (or more correctly Amber Lane) was worse before it was re-aligned in the mid 70s (there's some shots from back then on Old Chesterfield Pics on Facebook.) That was the first car accidint I ever saw back in the 60s and my dad, being in the St Johns, got out to assist.
I also remember my moped wouldn't go up without pedal assistance and a hear later my (nameless) friend clocking up 100 on the straightened road so it narrows the change down to '73/'74

I remember the slack hill and how steep it was as a youngster problem with that hill is if you don't hit top speed 60mph depending on the car/engine you enf up chugging up in 1st/2nd gear.
I can do it comfortably in the car I have but have seen many race past me obviously ar well over the speed limit.
I have seen speed potrols parked so far up - just at the back of the trees  ;)

Would have thought impossible without being able to walk faster? - would it stall?
To pull out from round the whittington island I wouldn't want less than a 1.6  :-?
Wish they would put put lights on it

Brimington Common is my hated road.  It's not only pot holed, but speed bumped and the parked cars on either side are like navigating chicanes!   >:(
