Sorry Pete what does spragged mean?

I reckon it's wafting in from the american heatwave ------ just as the snow does  8)
Think I will sprag in it tomorrow whatever it means  8)

Not sure why I suggested a Bar B Q ( maybe it was the wine) to the girls though cost a flipping fortune this afternoon in food and booze  ::)

Spragged out? I thought that was well known expression. As in "I was spragged out in front of the fire... ?

So means lying in the sun then Pete.
No sorry I haven't heard of that phrase, mind you when I met my first boyfriend many moons ago he only lived in the next village but I struggled to understand his Derbyshire slang at times had to keep asking him what he meant - nothing new there then eh!  ;D

I think the literal meaning is "stretched".
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I speak your language, Pete.   Spragged out definitely means stretched.

It's been a bit hot, hasn't it? We went to Kent for the weekend as it was our first opportunity to see my parent's grave with the headstone in place so a bit emotional but it looks absolutely lovely.

Thank goodness for air conditioning in the car though, it would have been unbearable without it.

If I'm not mistaken, they've charged that for the last few years.
