Sherwood Lodge, Bolsover. (Morrisons site)
« on: August 04, 2013, 04:49:00 PM »
Had a walk round againtoday. Saw 2 people taking a short cut through it, and one lady walking her unleashed dog. She didn't clear it's mess up either  ::) So this is what some of the good people of Bolsover want saving. Not in this household.
Quicker the work starts the better.

Here's the Peace Garden that is going to be left.

Centre:

So much for the borders:

As you can see, it's a thriving hub of a Sunday afternoon:

Mmmm, say no more:

Looks in need of some TLC Fly - it's not really clear how big it is in total but is that the only seat in all of the garden?

The grassed area is about the size of a football pitch, there's about 4 or 5 seats dotted about.
The TLC has been skipped because of the new development. Thing is, it was no better about 7 years ago when I went looking for our, (late), house cat that got out.
