Revamp for Hunloke Arms Derby Road
« on: August 15, 2013, 07:02:12 PM »
It's fenced off and closed for 3 months, having a complete re-fit and changing it's name to The Wingerworth Pub and Kitchen.
Once open it will serve breakfast, lunch and evening meals.
It's got a decent car park and a layby just across the road where lorries can be seen parked up so may do well with the breakfasts.
I'm not too sure about the name though it's a bit long winded

I'm sure the locals will come up with a shorter, catchy name for it like, say, "The Hunloke Arms."

People do. Chesterfield FC hasn't been "Chesterfield Town" since 1917 but ask any fan who they're going to see on Saturday...

Salty fish, 6 chips and cold mushy peas £12.00

Will have to get their act together
