I've been watching both of these and found them interesting,

 The council house set up is shown to be quite complex and the people taking part are I reckon playing to the camera's but it shows what the council has to put up with and how they prioritise their properties.
I didn't think the drunken woman should have got a house but needed help of a more positive nature, and there was a man who was trying to get his disabled son a bedsit and  carrying him on his back through the streets - I wasn't sure if he was just playing to the cameras - really dangerous and silly!

The benefits Britain 1949 - well I can see where some of the current changes in our benefits system is taken from - this weeks episode had me cringing though when the black person went for a room to rent in a private owned place and was told they only had 5 rooms 'for people like you and they are all taken!

Please God we can't go back to that!!
