Time off work :-)
« on: December 26, 2013, 07:21:07 PM »
No work now till 6th January, our choice  :)
Certainly makes a change not getting up at 6.00am on a weekday.
Had a couple of hours this afternoon putting a new security light over the back door. Meant to do it for the last couple of months but never really had the time at the weekend to do it. Don't usually get bod chance in the week to do owt LOL

No work til January 6th, my choice
Makes a change from getting up at 5.45 (none of these lay ins til 6)
Coincidentally I am also thinking of changing the outside light for one that's more of a spotlight

We have a light outside which originally activated a door bell when the sensor detected movement, the doorbell bit has long given up working, more recently the bulb needs changing but hubby can't loosen the screws to get to it (problems with grip/wrists) - so made just have to get someone to fit a new one..
They are handy when finding the right door key on dark nights!!

That's what spurred me on. The key holes in our new doors are virtually invisible in the dark.
Sounds daft, but it's true  :)

I have to go to the street light outside the drive - doesn't look good when a lady stands under those  ::)
