Poltical bias of UK newspapers.
« on: January 08, 2014, 05:52:49 PM »
I googled to see which way UK newspapers swung politically. This result I got is quiet amusing  :))

Quote
RIGHT-WING ---- Daliy Mail, Telegraph, The Sun.
CENTRE-RIGHT ---- Times
CENTRE ----- Express, Independent
LEFT-WING ----- Guardian, Daily Mirror, Daily Star,

"The Times is read by the people who run the country.
The Daily Mirror is read by people who think they run the country.
The Guardian is read by people who think they ought to run the country.
The Morning Star is read by the people who think the country ought to be run by another country.
The Independent is read by people who don't know who runs the country but are sure they're doing it wrong.
The Daily Mail is read by the wives of the people who run the country.
The Financial Times is read by the people who own the country.
The Daily Express is read by the people who think the country ought to be run as it used to be run.
The Daily Telegraph is read by the people who still think it is their country.
The Sun's readers don't care who runs the country providing she has big ****.
The Sport is read by the people who think that Elvis is running the country from his secret lunar bunker assisted by a team of topless aliens. "

The original - from one of the great tv programs of the last century. :)

Who reads the papers? - Yes, Prime Minister - BBC comedy
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I would say Express - Right, Guardian - Centre, surely you mean Morning Star not Daily Star to Left?

Morning Star, Daily Star, "I don't 'mean' anything". If you read the post correctly Andy, it was a google quote I posted.
I also included a link to the actual page.  :)) Over 2 years old may I add.

I was going to have a word with her before meeting the other night but she was late (preferred to explain face to face rather than email), then I got waylaid at the end. Will catch up with her in a few days
