Rampant lunacy
« on: February 14, 2014, 09:33:08 AM »
I just don't believe this - am gob smacked and that rarely happens.
I do know someone with steep steps to their home and a lift has been installed.
This is hideous

'kin 'ell - looks like something I've just been watching on the Winter Olympics!!  ::)

What's even more incredulous is that the council placed the family in a house that is so obviously not fit for purpose in the first place!!

Wouldn't it have made more sense to move them to a house better suited to their needs?

Ahhh - the "common sense" approach, not usually associated with politicians... ;)
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

VOTE FOR ME!!!  :D

Seriously though, apart from the fact that they've spent all that money modifying the house to suit that particular persons need, when the house becomes 'available for let' again (for whatever reason) the council will either have to house a similarly disabled family in it - or pay to have the monstrosity removed. I can't get my breath!  :-?
