Politicians
« on: February 27, 2014, 02:49:02 PM »
After 100,000+ people signed a petition calling for an assessment into the effects of welfare reform on sick and disabled people - this is how many politicians showed up for the debate.

And they bleat when folks don't bother turning out to vote...

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

That tells it all Pete, the lack of interest the Politicians have in this issue - and they claim they 'care'

No they don't do they?

They only "care" when they want your vote.

My day didn't quite go as planned, I had actually wanted to tune into that but missed - looks pathetic from the picture Pete.
There were a group of disabled people making their way there to lobby, total insult to them and their plight

i have always voted since i was old enough, and i encourage my son to vote, however having said that i do have some small sympathy with Russell Brands contention that to vote is to legitimise a corrupt discredited system.

Or as the old joke goes I don't vote it only encourages the B******s. Fact is that politics is exactly like the X factor. No point in moaning about how bad the contestants are if you aren't prepared to pick the phone up to vote.
