Can't wait to see this one evolve. Is it just the West kept guessing, or vice versa

As far as I can see its slapping each other with a wet fish at the moment. However Putin could stop gas supplies (apparently UK has plenty), but the Germans (for example) rely much more heavily on Gas from Russia apparently.
As ever, they need to sit round a table & thrash it out.
Where is Putin going to stop? Is Poland, Rumania next etc?
I must admit, I don't particularly like Putin - seems a bit scary - unhinged even.
Worrying times :(

The Crimea referendum seems to give much more of a mandate than any election held in the West
