Had an episode last Monday before we went away, it passed after about an hour, and I have been fine all week  :)

Started to feel a bit 'funny' this afternoon, about 3pm, then felt as badly as a dog for the next 6 or so hours!!!
I even went for a stroll round the block about 8pm for a bit of fresh air, didn't do jack.  :(
It's 10.30pm now and just starting to feel a tad  better  :-X

Starting to get sick of it TBH, couple of Our_Lasses amitriptylines should help me sleep, hopefully I'll feel fine tomorrow.

I've only took one Amatryptaline, I don't feel nowhere near as bad as I did.
12pm and wide awake. 7 hours of my day feeling badly, never right. Had the heart monitor on and took 5 readings.

The down side to this is that Our_Lass has seen me 'down' for hours and there's nowt she can do to make me feel better. I keep telling her to leave me to suffer alone and get over this by myself. This makes her feel useless, plus makes me feel selfish for not wanting her help.

This year is definately not my best.
Look on the bright side I suppose. It's been 2 years since we stopped smoking, but I was never this poorly before LOL

And again tonight. ONLY lasted for about 4 hours !
We've racked our brains trying to figure out what kicks the episodes off, but we've drawn a blank.
It's not food/drink cos sometimes it happens before I eat, well, don't eat cos I can't face it.
Other times it just comes on later in the day after tea ?
Sick of it TBH

All the tests I've had have all come back absolutely spot on.   :)
Apparently the only thing that was not the norm was my very slightly above average Blood Pressure.
The doctor agreed with me that the Omeprazol I'm taking for my heart burn is probably not quite strong enough at times.
Blood pressure causing the hot flushes at the same time as too much stomach acid = poorly Barry.
Based on these two things, the doctor has put me on a low dose of Beta Blockers, and suggested a change of tablet.
I told him the double dose of Omeprazol I'd started to take seems to be helping, plus I'd bought a years supply from Spain as they are a quarter of the price of a UK prescription. He suggested I continue with the Beta Blockers and double dose, then drop back to one tablet in a week or two and see how I go.
He's seeing me in 3 Months as he still wants me to have my eyes and joints checked over.
This is to do with the Marfan, I'm a typical candidate but not showing any defects, yet.
At least he's looking out for me  ;)

My doctor knew about my slightly high BP months ago and said I didn't need meds  ::)
Pity she didn't suggest the Beta Blockers, I might not have been ill on and off for the last 7 month !!

Here's hoping all's sorted, and thanks to all for your support  MD (y)

Had the full eye test yesterday. 3 sets of eye drops, the lot.
Everything is spot on. No probs.
I've got one more hospital appointment to see a Rhumatologist, bet that comes back fine too  :-X
