Should Britain Come Out Of The EU?
« on: October 27, 2014, 06:42:11 PM »
Our friends in Europe want more money for the EU club is it about time to pull the plug on the EU and wave goodbye?

No
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

No
Why should we keep giving £55 million pounds a day money that could be used for example for the NHS why would you vote to stay in?

Because, over all, we have an advantage by staying in - and I am a great believer in people/countries coming together.

But I do understand why some people want to come out - but on balance I say stay in. To me it's like selling your house because you are 5 grand in debt.

IMHO of course.

I simply worry about the influx of foreign nationals coming here - they are allowed quite rightly at this moment in time, but the strain on housing, schools, NHS etc, we are not building an infrastructure in terms of the aforementioned elements which can deal with this influx.
If we are staying in the EU, and we are top of the tree currently, then - no brainer everyone including the French want to come here.
Yet our country is creaking with age in terms of modern transport, underfunded healthcare, new affordable housing, the list is endless.
And we need to pay £1.7 billion to EU by first of December?
Our Economy is suddenly so outrageously outstripping everyone else that they demand this payment.
Yet we see cuts looming everywhere locally, particularly local authorities, which cannot any longer rely on government funding anymore.
The EU is an oversubscribed politically inept monster out of control.
I reckon, that without the entanglement & interference of the EU, Free trade would still continue.Between countries, European or worldwide. Who needs a middle man taking his cut.
Either way someone needs to "grow some" in terms of standing up to this useless, money syphoning pretend European Union.
I think it's become so big, it's outgrown itself in terms of common sense, & financial dignity.

As far as I am concerned the EU is Germany trying to achieve by political and economic means what they failed to do in 2 wars. The French as usual have allowed them to run rough shod because they are scared to do anything else.
