We will be attending the ceremony in Bolsover tomorrow.
After finding out Our_Lass's uncle is remembered on it, and getting the spelling corrected on it, we feel compelled to attend.
It's the 100th centenary after all :-)

Wish I could have gone to ours Fly, am working tonight ( charge now in bed ) and won't be free until lunch time.

Plus just been called down to daughters, she's spilled a boiling cup of water on her tummy and leg - leg has blistered  :(
I've given first aid but called for medics, have had to come back home to put youngster to bed - hoping she doesn't need the hospital.

I would have gone to Hasland had I been at home. We won't be trying to get anywhere near the Cenotaph here in London today as we can't risk getting stuck in the crowds but we do intend going down tomorrow

I can't get to Brampton today to place my cross for my Great Uncle no car plus no bus service as such. So what I do is go tomorrow easier for me to get to.

I attended at Staveley, with my daughter (11) we always try to go if I'm not working. :)

I'm overwhelmed with the number of likes my photo's have received on Facebook.
Did no one else take a camera to the Bolsover Cenotaph this morning   :-?
It was a great turn out, we're glad we went  :)

Hope all's well OC. xx

Got back from A&E about 1am this morning, really pleased it was quiet so didn't take long.
They dressed her leg which had a large blister on but tummy area of burn was looking better.
I have to take her to the GP's tomorrow to get it checked.
Really could have done without this

Took daughter to GP today as instructed by hospital. Her leg is a proper mess. GP called a nurse in to look at it. She called another nurse in to look at it  :-?. Nurse gave a Tetanus injection and re dressed it

Re F/B photo Fly. The person who put out the photo/write up had got it from the D/T which I had submitted ages ago - She hadn't realised it was me who had made it public in D/T  ;D. No idea what happened to the photo, but she wasn't happy and re-posted with another write up  ::) Not been on yet today.

Been down to the Cenotaph this morning. One thing struck me. Mr Farage may not have been allowed to be in the main ceremony but there were a lot of wreaths with message from the National Front. I counted at least 8 that I could read.

I think it's shameful to turn this event into a squabble.
Why can't people just honor those that perished and get on with it.
