Calling all ' Featherstones '
« on: March 10, 2015, 07:15:06 PM »
Below is my Great Grandfather Thomas Featherstone and his wife Janet. nee(Briggs)
Also pictured from left to right is Joseph, Norah and Ivy.
Joseph died a bachelor with no children. I have no current idea about Ivy.
I'm currently in touch with Norah's daughter, she own's the picture.

The picture is dated about 1901. They went on to have a further 5 or 6 children, including my grandfather Donald in 1907.
Here's what info I have about the family on my genealogy website.

Apparently Eric was born crippled and never married, I have information on Lindon's family.
So basically I'm looking for information on Ivy, Alma, Leon and Vera.

Going back a generation earlier, to Thomas's siblings.

I only have part information on 2 of them, William and John. That leaves 7 other unknown families I'm looking for.
Some of those people must have descendants living in these areas.
Shirland, Stonebroom, Tansley, Tibshelf, Bolsover, Hillstown, Staveley, Hartington.
