Carriage Crash at Alton Towers.
« on: June 02, 2015, 04:12:14 PM »
Oh dear this sounds a bad accident, I do hope there is no loss of lives.  :(

According to the news it's not yet clear if it was a manual or computer mistake.

I myself have loved riding on the fairground rides especially the Dippers, we never think we may be involved in an accident though do we - i know I never have.

Only last week I saw something about an advert for a ride tester at Alton Towers. Maybe I'll give it a miss.
Strangely big theme parks seem to be riskier than travelling fairgrounds

The ride in question has had faults and accidents in the past. I have never been to alton towers, don't think i will be any time soon.

What he said .  .  .  .

Oh, the new Red Arrows ride at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is manufactured by the same company.

I've always loved the Theme Park Rides, been on most which were at the Pleasure Beach the last time we went.
Haven't been to Alton Towers for a long time but I won't forget it.
I went with my daughter, late partner and his daughter.
We conned my late partner who wasn't really into rides to go on The Black Hole  ;)  >:.
We were sat at the back and all the way round my late partner screamed ---- ' Oh F@@@ing Hell MOTHER!!  :))
Once the ride stopped 'everyone' sitting in the seats in front swiveled their heads around to see who had been squealing  :))

Naughty I know - but I had tears running down me legs  >:  :))
