Chaos in Chesterfield

Flipping awful in town today with the ladies cycle race completely dominating the streets and roads.
I like others didn't know anything about it but I suppose it must have been advertised somewhere?

It was noisy, and low pavement shoppers were down to shuffling along because of the barriers.

I had to do a detour out of the Rose Hill car park to get to the roundabout near Lidl.
Wish I had known about it and Chesterfield would have been off my list for today!

It's been advertised all over including signs on all the roads involved. Mainly rolling road closures lasting 15/20mins but longer all day stuff for the finish in town. Great days racing and praised as a cracking stage for them to ride. Town looked great on the telly and the kind of eve gee should be pushing to get more of.
