Which bit is the seat, which bit is the lid ?? ???
Ok, I'll take this one step at a time.
The seat is the circular item which sits on top of the the toilet. Then you have a lid which sits on top of that. They both fold up and down.
By the way the toilet is not the one with the taps on - that is the sink, and you should find another one in the kitchen. This is not to be confused with the toilet.
If you are posh you may have another appliance in the bathroom which looks like a smaller toilet, which also has taps on it. If you happen to sit on this with the taps on, you may be there for a while. All sorts of things come up.
I know you are from Boza, as are some of my inherited family, so things may be different up there. I hope you remembered to A) cut a sizeable hole in the plank first, and B) remember to sand down the wood for splinters. Don't forget to dig a suitably sized hole in the ground first. Any coal you may find you may keep, but only for yor own personal use of course
As an added luxury, you may wish to erect a small outbuilding over the convenience for the purposes of privacy. This is not compulsory, but will require the approval of your local authority planning department.A fee will be required to cover the cost of searches made by various bodies to cover such things as impact on local habitat, planning permission, Coal authority subsidence due to previous workings, etc.
Alternatively just nip into nearest bookies in town and have a quick dump.

If this is too difficult for you to understand - its a lot to take in on lesson one -don't worry you are still allowed to use the outside grate/kitchen sink (wees only) until you qualify, or obtain a suitable CRB qualification, after paying the qualification fee (mandatory).
