I feel for the people of Gaza...but it seems every time a conflict arises in the world everyone forgets about the previous one.

I refer of course to Ukraine. It appears the military aid being given and promised has now been reduced to a trickle, so much so Putin is upping his game {with serious military weapons help from Nth. Korea}
Putin must have thought all his Christmases had come at once when the Gaza business kicked off, in the space of a few weeks he's gone from getting his ar*e whupped to virtually overrunning the Ukrainian army and retaking ground lost and the U.S. and other countries {us included} are literally turning their backs on Ukraine.

Putin is squealing like a stuffed pig over Biden allowing Ukraine to use long range U.S. made missiles to be launched into Russia, basically he doesn't think it fair!

The fact he's using N. Korean missiles to use against Ukraine and now having thousands of N.Korean soldiers manning the border seems to be o.k. to him, the fact that virtually all of the N.K. soldiers have little or no battlefield experience, it's just two megalomaniacs playing war games with live people.
 They say Trump is going to end this conflict {that should be interesting}

 A possible solution would be to let the U.N. temporarily take over the border with Russia and Ukraine, taking over two miles from the border all the way round Ukraine thereby creating a neutral zone in which neither armies can cross and any missiles will be shot down. Putin shouldn't be able to complain because Ukraine WON'T be a U.N. country in total which is what he is afraid of.

Putin says he's ready to use nuclear warheads if necessary, personally I don't believe even he is that stupid, but only time will tell. Unfortunately with him having a firm grip on the states media the Russian people are led to believe he is their saviour against the Wests aggression.

He must surely realise that once he goes down the nuclear path 75% of the Western world will turn on Russia and in less than 48 hours a good % of Russia would lay in smouldering ruins. The only saving grace about the commencement of W.W.3 is it will be a short one.

Historically conflicts teach us much....but apparently we never learn from them.

"British mercenary captured by Russian troops" he is reported to have said "It was a stupid idea to go", I could have told him that.

Putin will now be coming out with all sorts of conspiracy theories about how "foreign troops are secretly fighting for Ukraine" whilst still using N.K. troops on his front line. It says the foreign office is in touch with his family which means they might attempt to get him repatriated back here.

No doubt Shamima Begums solicitors will be keeping a close eye on proceedings!

So it looks like Ukraine is fighting Putin on his own turf.

The cost of the lost bombers runs into the millions yet European countries are still paying millions to Russia for gas, there's no wonder he can keep his war machine going it's because were paying for it.
We are paying towards Russian gas supplies yet in our own country our government is paying billions to wind farms NOT to produce electricity it's madness.

I've resurrected this post after hearing on the news that someone said due to our depleted forces it wouldn't take much to invade Britain!

Lets face it if we're getting hundreds of immigrants crossing the channel in small boats daily and we don't seem to be able to stop it, so if an enemy decided to have a go we could be overrun inside 48 hours. Apparently there's a Russian ship skirting our waters at this very minute and apart from a couple of frigates shadowing them very little is happening.
It wouldn't take much to start landing soldiers on our shores at night in dinghies, we don't have the manpower to cover that, and once here it would be difficult to track them down. Prevention is better than cure, if you stop them coming you won't have to route them out. Just think we are 48 hours away from looking like the Gaza strip!!!

It would be no good asking Trump for help, if you did the first thing out of his mouth would be "What's in it for me"? he's only interested in making money {for himself}

Must be visiting relatives for the new year, I remember someone years ago saying that we are becoming strangers in our own country, never has a truer word been spoken.

I know I started this post "The Russians are coming", by what I've seen on the news these past few days Putin is the least of our worries.

Power has gone to Trumps head, he doesn't WANT Greenland, he's DEMANDING it. He's all but invaded Venezuela by first openly kidnapping its leader, with threats of Colombia being next, he's also threatened to kick a** in the middle east. All the while Starmer is too sh*t scared to say anything.

Never before has there been a need to strengthen our forces in Europe, even if it means rejoining the single market to do it.

With friends like Trump who needs enemies!!

Putin is just sitting back watching the western world fall out with one another AND IT'S ALL TRUMPS FAULT......

I watched the speech Starmer gave to the nation this morning and he chose his words carefully, unfortunately with Trump your dealing with a megalomaniac who is steering in the wrong direction, not only by the fact he's a nutter, but by his sycophantic advisers. 

How that man became President of the U.S.A. not once but twice beats me, there's even talk of him trying to sneak in another term and it's not beyond the realms of possibility.
