Costa's not having it good are they!
Also Argentina has refused berthing to a P&O and Princess ship ---- 'cutting the hand off' comes to mind ---

Let's hope the Costa ship doesn't get scuppered by pirates.  It's adrift in some dodgy waters.   :(

Apparently they've got several ahem 'Security Staff' on board to deal with any pirate threat.

We went from Rome to dubai last year - through the gulf of aden --- pirate waters I believe. Ship was put on 24 hour watch at one point.

:) Didn't bother us to be honest we all just carried on with our holiday as normal, plus the ship was too high and too fast to be boarded by the pirates anyway. In that particular area of waters there are international war ships and air craft doing regular runs. We loved it and are actually doing it again in 2013 but from Dubai to Barcelona (booked it last week)
Dodgy areas - yes and dodgy ports  ;) Mexico and Guatamala are eye openers I can tell you.  ;)
