Christmas T.V. listings

Not a total surprise..........same old drivel on the box.

We bought the T.V.  guide for Xmas the other day, I don't know why they just don't print extra copies one year and keep them over for the next as it's all the same, with maybe some exceptions but those are few and far between.  A good 85% of what's on the box over Xmas will be repeats.

The listings for this year aren't much of an improvement, if at all.

Less than 10% of the Christmas and N/Y listings were new and original, the rest were the same old same old.

Having said that thank goodness for the time honoured classics, Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without "Scrooge a Christmas carol" starring Alistair Sim and it's GOT to be the original black and white version, many have tried {and failed} to match this masterpiece.
Another {although not a Christmassy film} "Casablanca" with Humphrey Bogart I never tire of watching those two classics.

Well  at least we are back to 'normal' tv now, and actually know what day of the week it is...

It's been rubbish hasn't it. I use the TV guide on TV.
We watched the Titanic documentary with actors speaking of their own experience as if they were actually on the Liner. We have watched documentaries but this was a slightly different take. We still have the last episode to watch.
