Davy Jones, singer with 60s pop band the Monkees has died aged 66.

No details at the moment.

I was only watching him at the weekend. He featured in the programme "I was in a boyband" I think it was called. Many stars of such bands were discussing their careers, and a couple of Monkees participated. I think, IIRC, Davy Jones commented that he "was once stalked all the way down to Lowestoft" which made me laugh.
RIP, they don't write 'em like that anymore!
