Here is my theory about him on Emmerdale.
I think he will have something like Asbergers they have already brought in his OCD (not that all people with Asbergers have this).
Think back to his mum telling him about when he was a baby and what he was like??
The story line here is being dragged out slowly but it's taking shape a bit like a jigsaw puzzle.

@ JR - I can imagine it is veryy annoying if you don't watch soaps although I watch them I also have a highliter pen and go through the different channels and set recorder - get a back up of different stuff then.

 Just as a bye the way - did you watch the making of the Panama Canal - really interesting, will have to book another cruise that way when the larger Lock is completed - it's a brilliant experience!
