@CC we watched it and yes it was very interesting, having travelled through it a few years back would love to go back to go through the larger one they are building. The transition takes all day and we were up around 5am to get a good spot. This cruising can be serious stuff  ;) Also went down the Chagres river in Panama to visit a tribe who lived on the river side -- an experience never to be forgotton.

I watched it too and, although I don't 'do' cruises, I found it very interesting from an engineering point of view.

What I didn't realise until we went through it was that each ship is fastened to something like a small train engine each side and the rope is kept tight helping the ship to keep straight, they are also on mini roller coasters and slowly move down the canal alonside the ships - intriguing to watch. Very clever!

Its the engineering side that I like too. A great few programs recently were entitled supersized earth. All about how our modern technology and construction has made our earth smaller.

Yes, I watched that series too - and I also found it very interesting

Classic  :))
Jay nips round to see Rachel, to tell her he's going away. "Can I hold Archie", he asks.
Camera pans round, and the baby stick's the finger up.  >;

Looks like Zak needs a new bottle of 'just for men' judging by the state of his hair and beard!
