Yes, I enjoyed it, I was just a child in the seventies but as a child you tend to have fond memories where as an adult you might just remember the austerity, etc.
I've seen several reports recently about the seventies and how many people today blame Thatcher for the materialistic society we have today, but as was mentioned in this programme, she was just a product of the seventies herself, and much of the materialism was well under way by the time she came to power.
Interesting to see that the miners were relatively underpaid at the time and their claims for pay rises that let to so much disruption seem valid, even if the country couldn't afford it.
I missed the following programme as this one prompted me to go and put on a Bowie CD at full blast.
