I hear there was a demo outside the council offices in Matlock today as a debate was held as to whether to cut the youth clubs or not.
If they do close them down I can just see the same council members complaining about "kids hanging around street corners" and other such predictable tosh.
As they sow, so shall they reap...

Yep, they spend a fortune trying to make roads safer with speed bumps, etc, because they don't want kids getting run over. The kids wouldn't be on the roads if the parks and youth clubs were there for them.
