Getting Scarey by Saltergate
« on: April 27, 2012, 10:01:06 AM »
The demolition lads are pulling down the football stand at the bottom of our garden and the rabbit is shaking like a leaf. So I've acquired another, smaller hutch and brought him inside for the bulk of the working day. Apparently rabbits scare easy and are known to have heart attacks.

The cats aren't sure at all...  :-\
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Awww poor bunny, i'll bet the noise is quite loud little wonder wabbit is frightened.
We recently had a new front door fitted and Flash (cat) was beside him self with the noise. he sleeps on the landing on his blanket - didn't know where to go, so I opened the spare bedroom door  - later I couldn't find him --- noticing the bed door (sliding door) slightly open I got down and peeped inside - to see two cat eyes looking back at me  :D.
It's good you are looking out for your rabbit Pete  :)

That's one helluva big garden you've got there Pete, to have a football stand at the bottom of i - oh I see.......  ;)

I hope your rabbit gets used to the noise 'cos after the demolition comes the building work and that won't be finished in a matter of days - mind you, in the current economic climate it probably won't even start for years.

Not too worried about the building work Dave, it's the big crashing noises from the machines that are ripping down the old building that's seriously noisy.

Mind you, if the poor little chap does peg out, I hear rabbit is nice with chips...

Better in a stew, just remove the bones after half hour of cooking.
And, skin it first  :)
