As I understand it, The Govt. have said they won't attend any group matches. But they haven't ruled out attending matches later on if England qualify.
I don't think this is about Cameron making a point of principle, just jumping on a bandwagon as he so often does.
If Cameron was really concerned about the political situation, or cultural issues such as racism, maybe he and his fellow EU leaders could stop pouring millions of Euros of EU support into the country unless it was in exchange for clear changes.
Its easy to make the "grand-standing gestures", but ask Cameron and the other useless European politicians to take decisive action on an issue, well England have got more chance of winning the tournament than that happening.
