Gardens, show my yours, I'll show you mine :-)

We've got a Peony in the front garden that's flowering now.
The flowers are so big, they are drooping to the floor.
Lack of water ??

Here's one in a vase in the kitchen, no use laid on the lawn.

What a lovely colour Fly - so vibrant! I watered all my plants last night everywhere is very dry it's hard to believe we had all that rain not so long ago. The hot sun won't help either.

My mothers are doing the same, she says your supposed to stake them LOL

We had an egg plant slowly taking over a border, so we dug it out and put it into a large planter up the garden.
It's crept out of the planter and spread around the paved area at the top of the garden.

Lovely aren't they Fly - they help keep the weeds at bay as well when the fill up the garden

I had those in the front border of a previous house and one of my neighbours asked why I was planting weeds!! 

They look lovely when flowering and, as OC states, they fill up any spaces helping to keep weeds at bay (they also grow in poor soil)

Lawns cut, hedges chopped.



Tip for cucumber plants. Keep the plants stalk's dry, or they rot. Water the roots via a  little pot 
We haven't got a plant for the other tub yet 



Tomato plants planted in bigger tubs.



Some other bits and bobs for hanging baskets tubs etc.

It's a 'Flame bush' don't know real name for it, I've had it years it was given to me as a gift.

I think its' proper name is 'Pieris' - but don't go shouting down the garden "have you seen this pieris", someone might mis-hear you!!!!  Yp

Planted some mixed lettuce seeds in the sink on the back door step.
Our_Lass says I've gone a bit overboard with the slug pellets.
