LOST! Cat in Stonegravels area
« on: August 11, 2012, 10:31:26 AM »
Hiya,

Have lost my little cat and am very worried :-(

Posting in the hope that people could keep an eye out for her - she's a little black and white cat (Missy) and has been missing from the Stonegravels area of Chesterfield.

She was last seen at home on Thursday morning and it's very unsusual for her to go wandering, she's normally stuck to my side!

She is very small, has an unusually short tail and was wearing a pink collar with her owners' phone numbers on it. She's also microchipped.

If you live locally we would really appreciate it if you could check any outbuildings or garages in case she has been trapped inside accidentally.

If you have seen her please call us on 07803 037853 or 07967 090525.

You can see a photo here http://postcodegazette.com/news/9002266067/small-cat-lost-in-stonegravels-AT-chesterfield-william-street/

Thanks for reading.

Thanks for everyone who read this - after leafleting the local streets a neighbour called to say she had seen her and we have tracked her down :-) Think she had gotten herself lost near the Casa Hotel ... unless she was sampling leftovers from their menu in the bins :-)

Very relieved, thanks again!

Yep, glad she's found.

When I heard a cat had gone missing, I was about to suggest a closer look at the grandmothers boyfriend.

Hi Mandy - welcome to the forum, really pleased your cat has been found.
My daughter's cat didn't return for his meal last night and when I went to visit her this mornign at 11am he still hadn't returned, she had big tears in her eyes fearing the worst.
I went outside a called his name and heard a faint response, so I called him again and he appeared, like you we were so relieved he was ok.  :)

Had a walk up the street the other morning.
(On holiday in Salou just incase someone doesn't know)

We came across a cat and 3 kittens on a baren patch of land. They'd got food and plenty of water, obviously someone is partly looking after them.
But the kittens were flea ridden, and the cat looked liike it hadcataract problems.
Poor little sods :-(

On the other hand my daughters puddy cat is a spoiled little kitty. She feeds him prawns, and fresh chicken and for his birthday (OMG he's a CAT!!) he got crab! I've told the cattery where he will be going on our next holiday that little Soxy will think he's in a hostel when he goes to them.  ::)
