However K4 I think in this case your personal attack on Pete does you no credit.
Maybe, but I think I have the right to defend myself.
1) On more than 1 occassion he has critised me for not posting more, yet when I do, he doesn't contribute, as he hasn't in either of the posts I have posted since last night. Thats fine, his choice, but it doesn't mean he's right to say others don't post enough.
2)He went through my post and almost quoted it on a line by line basis, and accused me of a "right wing rant" Odd considering I was supporting the actions of a left wing, free and democratic state, while he seems to think its OK to speak up for a fascist, dictorial and abusive state that makes even USAs record on human rights look soft.
I'm just trying to find where, in some peoples eyes, the line between honesty and hypocrisy disappears. Even many of Asange's supporters have distanced themselves from him since his move to the embassy, but for others, their allegiance to a "left wing martyr" is stronger.
I wonder how Pete would feel if the USA wanted to extradite the Pope to answer questions on child abuse allegations, I suspect I know the answer because Pete wouldn't support the Pope, so it seems justice should only be handed out to those whom Pete doesn't support.
Also seems odd that Pete has said before that the UK shouldn't get involved in other peoples wars, yet here we are, dragged into a diplomatic disagreement which the Ecuadorians seem keen to exploit, which could be difficult for us, as there is already dislike of us on the South American continent due to Argentina. And now, not from our own doing or choice, we find ourselves brought into this mess by someone who seems to think that he is the only one who matters in the whole world.
So I will quite happily stop the personal attacks when others decide that we should stick to discussing the facts!
