Engineers not coming till Tuesday afternoon. Looks like I've got mobile internet access only for the next few days !!

Yep - and that's happened to me on more than one occasion - but BT still charge you for the visit!  >:(

They can charge what they like, won't be paying owt.
Got me a vodafone dongle for now, will let you know if one gets it to work.

Been trying the phone hourly, dead.
Just spent the best part of an hour and a half trying to get the dongle to work, zip naada !!

Tried the phone again, guess what, it's ******* working now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sure it's just you and your house? Went through Bozza around 7 ish and there was a BT engineer with one of the exchange boxes open and wires everywhere.
