Congratulations K4 - you've won "Hypocrite of the Month" award!

If I'd posted that about the Conservatives, you'd have squealed like a little girl.

Why am I a hypocrite. Anybody who ever took the time to read my post would know that I have consistently attacked polticians, of all parties, who spend all their time slagging others off, instead of being constructive, principled, honest, etc. Which is probably why I also spend a lot of time knocking your posts. Just like the post where you said "anyone who disagreed with you would have a fight on their hands".
I'm all for debating issues, but prefer constuctive debate with ideas and solutions based on an individuals experiences and principles, constant slagging off is childish and silly, which is why I highlighted this particular interview.

Isn't/hasn't this statement been misconstrued ?
Even originally, never mind to quote for a second time

Oy, I don't think I've ever argued about NVQs have I?

Not on here.  ;)
Or was it DerbyRams, I'm probably wrong. I will of course apologise if I have a bad memory  ;)
Dons detective hat for tomorrow evening  ;)
Wasn't a dig either way, just seem to remember you backing NVQ's, kids leaving school, needing further qualifications etc
Things they should have been taught in school.
My argument was they aren't worth the paper they are printed on  :)

K4 - once again you miss-quote me - twisting meanings, ranting and raving will not get you anywhere.

But carry on like that and I will ban you.

Fact.

Try me.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

The standard of written English seems to have gone  down hill not only on social media sites but even people whose job is to write down phone messages. Many mistake "you're & "your", "passed" & "past", "there","their" & "they're" and most annoyingly "have" & "of".

However, I won't be spending the next 2 years slagging off my competitiors either.

So you're telling me that if I rang you up to talk about doing some work for me and I happened to mention one of your competitors, you wouldn't claim to be better than them?

(And as for Labour saying they would have to cut if they won the last election, only half true, some, like Ed Balls, still think we should be spending more.)
They may think that, indeed they probably said that public expenditure on capital projects was the way to drive the economy but they still agreed at the time that cuts were necessary but never said where.

Who's ranting, not me. And who's the hypocrite. This forum was set up because you thought people should be free to say what they want, presumably only if they aren't holding you to account.
I have no problem with anyone person critising any one political party but you make childish and silly comments, failing to back up your comments with credible argument or fact. Banning me won't change that fact, it will just prove I'm right, like I've said before, you aren't capable of arguing the issues, (this one about education), so instead you launch into a personal attack on me.
So go ahead and ban me if thats what you want to do, but please grow some balls and explain to the few remaining members exactly why, at least the free speech issue on the last forum was about "offensive language", here its about whether or not I agree with you.
Grow up Pete!

Like Pete said, looks like a bit of a twist on his original post.
I personally think Pete was on about, we(country)
Did you mis-read this like I did your HIS(Skinners) post  :)

At the time of me posting that, I did not know K4 had been banned.
I have since been informed, and seen his post on CF, which I find a very unfair and twisted story of events.

I've just read, read, read, and re-read this thread he mentions on CF

I back Pete's decision.  MD
