Knew I had a better pic somewhere.  :) The little girl in the striped trousers and white top is Patricia Cox, being held by her mum Maureen. Someone must recognize that cheeky little sod on the right of the front row with the toothy grin.  ;D

1959 Mycul would be 9, middle brother would be either 5 or 6 depending on the time of year, I don't appear on the scene for another 4 years.
As I said we were on Brunswick Street which lasted another 10 years or so.

No Fly, it's not me. I don't know any of them, only have the info on Maureen and Patricia Cox as it was with the photo. I was just hoping someone could identify the little guy on the front row as he looks quite a character.  :)

We moved out of Brunswick Street on the 2nd of September 1967 (the last people to move) and moved up the road to Gloucester Road, moving most of the furniture on an old Silver Cross Pram.  Mrs L Holmes was grandads sister in law.  She moved to Brockwell when the houses got knocked down for the new bus depot.  She moved to the row of houses that leads to the reservoir off Brockwell Lane just a few doors up from where grandmas brother lived.  Apart from that I can't tell you anything else excepting that just below the entrance to the row of houses was the best fish and chip shop in town.  The houses had to be demolished, none of us had indoor toilets or hot water (except for gas geysers) in fact our toilet didn't even flush, there was a huge tank at the end of the line of toilets that used to fill up by running water and when it was full it used to overbalance and flush a line of about 12 toilets, we used to have great fun on a Sunday morning when all the men were reading the papers sat on the loo and just when the tank was full putting lit paper soaked in oil into it causing all the toilets to be filled with black smoke.

Welcome Kev, sorry I can't help with this one but I reckon most of us start to go down the 'memory lane' route as we get olde so a lovely gesture on your part.

My mum in law was born on Prospect Street and lived there until 1941 when she got married and went to live in 'rooms' in Brampton.

I don't recall seeing any photos of Prospect Street in her stash but if I do come across any I'll post some on here  :)
