Sometimes when the river levels and the water in the fields is high there's just nowhere for it to go

Went through Piccadilly this morning and turned into Crow Lane and found that the river had overflowed and flooded all the surrounding fields - it's quite frightening really and makes you feel so sorry for the people whose houses get flooded.

Chesterfield Post doing coverage of the floods, but DT fails miserably.

I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

The road at the bottom of Boza hill is clear, the river is quite a way from the top of the bridge.

This is about 200 yards after the bridge where the river heads off towards Coalite

And Stockley Trail, this should be the footpath towards the lakes near Carr Vale
