When I was really young, a train set.
Then a lego set.
Then a Meccano set.
Then a Raleigh Chopper.
Then an electronics set.
Then a Sinclair ZX80.
Are you getting the drift :-)

Mum and dad did me and my 3 siblings proud.
Couldn't have asked for better parents.
Mum's birthday today, she's not well, migraine.  :'(
Hope she feels better tomorrow  :(

When I was young having a two wheeler bike comes to mind, I can see my dad now running at the side of my holding the seat whilst i practised balancing on it
Of late maybe my digital camera which I do use a lot

That rings a bell (no pun intended) the only big Christmas present I can remember was a bike.
I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it left.
