Just seen the following on Twitter:

Cavendish Street completely cut off siege situation in progress.

Bloke gone berserk above Subway in Cavendish St, Chesterfield. Chucked a load of stuff into the road. Not nice, has a knife.

Incident on Cavendish Street drawing to a close, poor chap safely detained, we will be open in a few minutes.

Will see if I can find out more.

Cavendish street in Chesterfield has been sealed off as police investigate an incident there.

Derbyshire Police have confirmed they closed the road after a man threatened to harm himself from a first floor flat.

He also began chucking large objects, including a TV, from a window.

Police managed to get access to the flat and the man has been taken away for treatment and is safe and well.

Road now reopened. just seen ambulance and police car drive off at speed with blues and twos going. Small heap of rubbish on causeway. Didn't see a telly !
